Gotcha. I figured as much. I have friends in Europe and still read/hear them talking about smoking socially a lot and it doesn't seem to be as big of a deal. I live in the South and it took a lot longer to become less socially acceptable here (probably having a lot to do with tobacco being a huge cash crop here) but it's definitely not as accepted as it once was.

I grew up in the era of everyone (of course not everyone, but it sure felt like it) smoking, smoking sections in restaurants, and I even remember being on an airplane with a smoking section! My mom smoked, and I recall a very long flight from the east coast to Hawaii, and her taking many trips to the upper deck of that plane and leaving us kids to our own devices haha.
