Your stories always seem to bring a tear to my eye. I lived in South Florida for many years and met some of the most amazing people who were originally from Cuba. The stories they told of their homeland, the beauty, the people they were before fleeing to this country, it's heart breaking.

I understand we have rules as well, but it feels like people here are...complacent maybe? Too comfortable in the freedoms we feel are, owed maybe? I think we forget they could just as easily be taken from us. It makes me angry and sad.
