I almost was. A woman doctor actually stopped me from being discharged thankfully, because my cardiac enzyme test wasn't finished! The male doctor was trying to discharge me before it had come back!! He said, "You probably swallowed something in your sleep and it woke you up coughing and that caused chest pain."

The fuck? I NEVER said chest pain woke me up. EVER. I literally presented with high heart rate. Period. My first troponin test was high. Second was higher. They were waiting for the third result and he was like cool, discharge her. That's not protocol at all. When cardiac enzymes are that high, that's a sign of heart attack, not a sign to send someone home, dumbass.
