I can't count the number of people I have met who believe this! My first husband was definitely one of them. But only for me haha. Apparently he could do whatever he wanted, in pretty much every regard.

For me, this is the ultimate form of control and I just can't get behind it.

Now, to play "devil's advocate", I have known people who had a problem with their partner masturbating instead of having sex with them. This became an issue over time and after many conversations, yet the partner still chose to masturbation almost exclusively. They didn't view it as cheating, they just felt their partner wasn't interested in having an open and vulnerable conversation to get to the heart of the matter.
