I had a difficult time with clit suckers to begin with, too. My problem I think was getting them to attach properly. They just didn't seem to work. Then I finally got one that did, it's also an insertable. It's from Cere, a doctor run company, and omg, that was the toy that changed my mind! I have a womanizer 2 and haven't tried it yet, but after reading this, I think it's time to treat myself! <3
