I hope everything has worked out the best it can for you in the time since you wrote this. I am in a similar-ish situation (tho my husband isn't in prison due to DV, due to something he didn't do, but incarcerated nonetheless) and have been working hard to find local work. It's discouraging in so many ways but we have to keep moving forward, somehow.
