I've been on the branded Ozempic since February for type 2 diabetes. When I started, I was 235. Today I'm 174. My A1C and daily blood glucose levels are significantly reduced as well.
Water is definitely a huge deal, because constipation can be a serious problem. I've also had to add a stool softener here and there. (TMI but wanted to be real and give you my first hand experience)
I started on the .25 dosage and went up to .50 after a month and have stayed on that dose since. IIRC, that's when the stomach issues began. A bit of nausea right after doing my injection, and I would get a little dizzy. It never lasted more than a few minutes.
It also wasn't until I went up in dosage that I noticed the suppression of appetite and it's pretty significant. I have to make myself eat.
And I would not stop it or change my decision for anything. It's been one of the best choices I've ever made for myself. I'm able to move more and better and yes, I feel better about how I look.
I wish you the best with this journey and if you ever have any questions I'm happy to answer whatever I can!
