Naomi—and that’s the thing, what rehabilitation happens when/if it does def comes from within. It is not provided from the system. Damian is working hard on himself, mostly by himself. Of course I do whatever I can, we also have a friend out here who is helping him. And he has a couple of people inside he trusts.
But that is RARE.
I hope your husband is in a better place mentally today. But I know PTSD is a lifelong thing. I deal with it from childhood and adult trauma.
