They said no, I asked. I believe I may have gone over the word limit.
They were not very forthcoming with information beyond it violated their copyright terms of service. They did not say if they were contacted by the holder. I have a feeling I know where this stemmed from and honestly, it’s fine at this point.
I could be wrong but again, at this point there isn’t anything I can do beyond be annoyed and stomp my feet about it. Then suck it up and move forward. They won’t restore my account. I’ve asked, twice. I offered to remove the content. They said that wouldn’t matter.
It is what it is and I’m reframing it as a fresh start and the kick in the ass I needed to backup my work on my own site (which I’ve been saying I should do for a long time) and get other projects moving.
It just came out of the blue and smacked me in the face. But considering what I think actually happened (I’m pretty sure I was reported by a commenter who got angry because I refused to bow down to their bullshit) I should have seen it coming eventually.
