This is amazing, thank you so much for writing it. Have you guys watched The Woman King yet? it is now on Netflix (of course I watched it when it still had to be rented haha) and is well worth the time. It is a bit bloody (considering the content that's unavoidable) but I think you'll be okay with it. It's based on a true story and really well done.

I just added African Queens: Njinga to my list on Netflix too, it's produced and narrated by Jada Pinkett Smith, and is a docuseries about warrior Queen Njinga of Angola. It's supposed to be really good. I'll let you know once I view it what I think.
