This is one of my favorite Robin Williams movies. I was 20 when it came out, and though I didn't see it in theaters, I remember watching it at home with my oldest son, so I probably viewed it a year or so after its release, he would have been around 4-5 at the time. I've always been a fan of the Pan story, and a huge Williams fan.

I remember falling in love with this movie almost instantly.

To this day, I re-watch it every couple of years. I'll be watching it again soon I'm sure, mostly because of reading your fantastic take on it, probably because I'm 45 and can commiserate a bit, and because I want to watch the newest incarnation of the Peter Pan story Disney just released.

I also really liked Pan.

Agree, ET made me openly sob. Many times. It was the very first movie I ever saw in theaters. Double feature with the Care Bears movie!
