While I try very hard to not be judgmental about how anyone handles their business, I just have such a personal issue with DADT relationships. As Elle mentioned, being the "other" person in one before, and feeling like someone's "dirty little secret" is truly soul crushing. I know for me, being able to discuss what is going on with my partner and knowing everyone knows what is going on is vital for me.

What works for us definitely doesn't work for everyone else and I get that, but I am glad to have worked through all of this and gotten to where we are today. Thanks for sharing your experience.
