Yeah that’s what is so maddening. When he was on the outside he was stubborn as hell about getting medical care. The story about his gallbladder is 100 percent accurate. His surgeon was aghast at how necrotic it was and that he had lived with the level of pain he had to be in for so long. He was working manual labor jobs for years walking around with this thing leaking poison into his body.
It’s why I yell at him about stuff now. And he listens lol. But of course, now, he can’t get decent care.
